Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the culinary department.

We are looking for an evening cook working from 3pm to 9/10pm, and a part time weekend breakfast cook to work from 6am to 11am.

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our menu and food safety standards. This is a vital role in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers and maintaining the high quality of our food.

Duties:

Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely manner
Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
Assist with menu planning and recipe development
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies
Assist in training new kitchen staff members
Skills:

Strong culinary skills with experience in a professional kitchen setting
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to follow recipes and portion sizes accurately
Proficient in menu planning and meal preparation techniques
Familiarity with various cooking methods and techniques
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
