Two local entrepreneurs have merged businesses--Greg Kops of Think Topography and Megan Pugh of blink digital-- to form a strategic integrated marketing agency. Their in-person processes and web-based tools are designed to connect an organization’s values with its brand, its brand with its audience, and its marketing actions with its business objectives. They’ve developed a software platform that integrates an organization’s customer relations database (CRM), website (CMS), email marketing, blog, social media, analytics and more.

Think Topography plans to celebrate this milestone with a blink & THINK merger party Friday, October 24th from 7-10pm at Studio West, a coworking space located at 516 West MLK--sharing the block with Gimme Coffee, Saigon Kitchen, and Felicia’s Atomic Lounge. The event is free and open to the public and will be catered by Tal Cohen of Ba-Li Cravings with live music by David Besag and Pedro Arroyo of Ten Penny Karma.

While the merger is recent, Kops and Pugh have been collaborating for years, a relationship that began in 2012 when blink digital became a member at Think Topography’s coworking space, Studio West. Kops, an experienced entrepreneur and prolific software developer found a growing need for Pugh’s expertise in digital marketing and high-end graphic design. As a result of working in the same collaborative space, the two nurtured a strategic partnership where they called on one another for help with client projects for organizations like the Cornell Cooperative Extension, Ithaca Hours, and the World Health Organization. As those projects grew in number, they began to see the potential behind their collaboration.
