This will be an interactive MWBE conversation\, and will include an overview of:\n\n	The application process\n	Eligibility requirements\n	Benefits of certification\n	& plenty of opportunity for Q & A\n\nPresented by Gladys Brangman\, Founder & CEO\, Business Leaders of Colors (BLOC)\n\n\n\nAs the Founder and CEO of Business Leaders of Colors\, Gladys brings over 40 years of administrative and public service experience to the table. She has worked for the Tompkins County Office for the Aging\, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA)\, Cornell University\, and now Business Leaders of Colors (BLOC). Her business provides coaching and resources for business owners\, entrepreneurs\, consultants\, and social justice leaders. Her network was created to level the playing field and create a cooperative space for commerce that serves the underserved business community.\n\n\n\nAfter becoming MWBE certified\, and receiving training from New York State\, Gladys' desire is to help as many businesses as possible through the certification process. Her goal is to support and nurture business owners of colors throughout the region. Gladys is also the most recent\, and much deserving\, recipient of the Tompkins Chamber Noel Desch Person of the Year award.
