DESCRIPTION:With strong commitments to community partnership and public impact\, the Tompkins Chamber is partnering with Business Leaders of Colors to co-host our next L.E.A.R.N webinar on the New York Forward Loan Fund. \n\n\n\nGovernor Cuomo recently announced the NY Forward Loan Program for small businesses\, non-profits and landlords. The New York Forward Loan Fund can offer small businesses\, nonprofits and small landlords working capital loans of up to $50\,000 with very reasonable interest rates (2-3%) via several community development financial institutions around the state. These loans are specifically designed to help businesses as they reopen for business and can be used for a variety of purposes. During the webinar\, our presenter Matthew Kennedy with Empire State Development\, will provide an overview of the program as well as:\n\n	Eligibility Components\n	Regional Loan Distributions\n	Application Process\n\nThe format of the webinar will be a 40 minute presentation of information followed by a 20 minute Q&A.\n\n\n\nPlease feel free to visit the Chamber's COVID-19 Business Resources page where you will find up to date information and tools to help you\, your business/organization\, and your employees.
