DESCRIPTION:Have you relocated to the area in the past year to live or work in Tompkins County?\n\n\n\nAre you interested in learning more about what Tompkins County has to offer a first time resident or someone returning after years away?\n\n\n\nSignificant others and kids are always welcome to attend our Welcome Home events.\n\n	Enjoy conversation and light refreshments with other residents who are new to the community.\n	Learn about services\, programs\, and volunteer opportunities in the area.\n	Explore a business or place that may be new to you.\n\n While the event is geared towards new residents\, any resident who feels they would benefit from attending or introducing themselves to new members of our Community are welcome.\n\n\n\nOur host this month will be Purity Ice Cream\, Co. Purity has been the "Ice Cream of the Finger Lakes" since 1936. Founded by Cornell Grad Leo Guentert\, Purity has remained a locally owned business ever since. Even to this day\, approaching a century later\, Purity is still dedicated to creating happy memories and sticky smiles through superior ingredients and craftsmanship.  \n\n\n\nWelcome Home Wednesday is presented by Tompkins Community Bank with support from Cayuga Health System\, Silo Food Truck\, The Ithaca Voice and Ithaca College. \n\n\n\nWe look forward to seeing you there\, and welcome home!
