We hope you are able to visit the falls at another time\, to celebrate this milestone! \n\n\n\nCelebrate 100 Years of NYS Parks with an Evening Waterfall Hike! \n\n\n\nJoin local NYS Parks staff\, Visit Ithaca\, and the Tompkins Chamber for an evening waterfall hike to the base of Taughannock Falls on the Gorge Trail. Taughannock Falls will be lit up as part of a statewide celebration in honor of the 100th year of New York State Parks.\n\n\n\nPlease wear appropriate footwear\, layers based on the weather\, and bring head lamps or flashlights for your group. Dogs on leashes are allowed.\n\n\n\nLimited space available\; registration required.
