23rd TST BOCES Annual Car Show Slated for May 15

The 23rd annual Tompkins-Seneca-Tioga BOCES Car Show is slated to take place May 15 at the Career and Technical Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 555 Warren Road Ithaca, NY 14850. Spectators are asked for a $2 per person donation for entry. Tickets may be purchased at the door or pre-sale tickets are available from CTE students. The event will take place rain or shine and will feature flea market vendors in addition to the antique and classic cars. There will be a $500 door prize, entering contestants do not have to be present. TST BOCES Career and Technical culinary students will prepare the food for the day. Students will also man booths showcasing skills they learned in class. Last year?s event brought in nearly 200 participants despite the rainy weather. All those interested in entering a car can contact Sandy Foote at sfoote1@tstboces.org. The car show is a family-friendly event. No alcoholic beverages, pets or sound systems will be allowed. All proceeds go to student leadership funds, which help aid student scholarships at the end of the year.
