Are you new to the area or recently returned and looking to feel right at home? Welcome Home Wednesday is the perfect way to connect with your community, meet new people, and discover the incredible businesses, organizations, services, and volunteer opportunities that make our town thrive.
Join us for an evening of fun, networking, and discovery as we bring together community members old and new in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re here to find new connections, learn about local resources, or simply introduce yourself to the neighborhood, this event is for you!
This month we will be visiting YMCA of Ithaca and Tompkins County. Since 1868, the Ithaca Y has been bringing fun, wellness, and opportunities for all to Tompkins County. The Y empowers everyone, no matter who they are or where they’re from, by ensuring access to resources, relationships and opportunities for all to be healthy, learn, connect and have fun.

• Long-time locals who want to welcome and meet new faces.

Welcome Home Wednesday is presented by Visions Federal Credit Union, with support from Cayuga Health System, and Ithaca College
Special Note from the YMCA:
Discover all the YMCA has to offer new and returning community members. We’ll have a variety of activities for all ages, including:
- Family Swim in the small pool from 6-7 PM. Please note our swim lesson policy:
- Age 0-6, Red Band, Both Pools* *Must have parent/guardian within arms' reach in both pools. There are no exceptions.
- Age 7-12, Yellow Band, Both Pools* *Child may swim unaccompanied in the small pool or with a parent/guardian within arms' reach in large pool
- Age 12 and Under, Green Band, Both Pools* *Any child who has passed the swim test will be allowed to swim unaccompanied in either pool
- Age 13+, No Band, Both Pools
- Open Rec Sports (Racquetball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Foosball, etc.) will be available for play by attendees
- Facility Tours showcasing our recent improvements, including the new Functional Weight Training Space & Cardio Room and the School Age Child Care Room!
We will have a kids' play corner in the Nutrition Center and a drawing for a free 3-month membership! Come network and explore the YMCA!
