Just in time for the start of school, three area nonprofits have teamed up to offer a super sale on reusable goods, furniture, electronics, architectural selvage items and more. On August 22-23, take a walk down the ReUse Trail at three Ithaca locations, running from a Tag Sale for Habitat for Humanity at Prichard Automotive on Cayuga Street, to a Sidewalk Sale at Significant Elements on Center Street, and down Plain Street to a tent sale at the future Ithaca ReUse Center on Old Elmira Road. Sale hours are as follows: Habitat for Humanity (304 S. Cayuga St.): Friday 12-6pm. Saturday 8-3pm Significant Elements (212 Center St.): Friday 9-6pm, Saturday 9-4pm Finger Lakes ReUse (214 Old Elmira Road): Friday 10-4pm, Saturday 10-4pm Dollars spent on all goods will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Tompkins and Cortland Counties, Historic Ithaca's Significant Elements, and Finger Lakes ReUse. All three organizations support economic, environmental, social, and cultural sustainability in our community.
