Professional Development. Sciarabba Walker is a member of PrimeGlobal, an association of independent accounting firms; the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). Every three years we undergo an AICPA peer review, and we are a leader in the peer review program for New York State accounting firms. We subscribe to a number of news and advisory services. We attend workshops and conferences. Sciarabba Walker also gives many presentations to clients, local businesses, and community members.

Community Involvement. Economic vitality and quality of life are interdependent. Both rely on active involvement from local business leaders. Because many on the Sciarabba Walker team grew up in Tompkins County, giving back is even more important to us. We volunteer, contribute resources, and serve on the boards of organizations such as Ithaca Area Economic Development, Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce, Cortland Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Alcohol and Drug Council of Tompkins County.
