TITLE: Seasonal Day Camp Nurse
LOCATION: Ithaca Youth Bureau - Cass Park
SALARY RANGE: $25 - $32.00 per hour based on certification/license & experience

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: Maintains medical records according to Tompkins County Health Department guidelines for both campers and camp staff. Provide first aid as needed and be the point person for the camp emergency action plan and any emergency medical situations. Maintain medical supplies, dispense, and secure camper and camp staff medications. Camp administration functions as the situation calls for.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Licensed as an LPN, Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician.
B. Must have current American Red Cross in CPR for the Professional Rescuer (less than 1 year old) and Responding to Emergencies or higher First Aid or equivalent certifications.
C. Prior experience working with children or in recreation programming preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday, from the end of June – mid August 2025, 8:45am to 4:15pm. With some flexible
pre-season hours between May and June to review and organize incoming medical information/
documentation and manage DOH & DSS medical requirements. *Inquire about partial summer
