Seneca County Chamber of Commerce names Seneca White Deer as Business of the Month
The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce and Hampton Inn Seneca Falls have named Seneca White Deer as the Chamber’s Business of the Month for March. Seneca White Deer’s mission is to promote the preservation of the former Seneca Army Depot’s military history and to educate visitors about the habitat, wildlife, and the world’s largest white whitetail deer.
Since opening in November 2017, Seneca White Deer has been seeing visitors from central and western New York in addition to New Zealand, China, Scotland, and Germany.
“The white deer tours are unique in that there is no other place like it on our planet,” stated Dennis Money President of Seneca White Deer. “Our tours not only showcase the white deer but also captures the military and civilian history of the former depot — offering a great blend of wildlife and history.
“We applaud Dennis and the white deer team for making this dream come to fruition here in Seneca County,” stat-ed Membership Development Manager Mackenzie Green. “This is a great addition to our area for not only tourists but locals as well.”
