2018 Economic Summit

We welcome you to join us for the 2018 Economic Summit presented by the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce and Tompkins County Area Development, with special guest Heather Briccetti from The Business Council of New York State.

The Annual Economic Summit provides a snapshot of the local economy, highlights recent projects, and outlines challenges and opportunities for business and job growth in our community.

Heather Briccetti will discuss the Business Council's pro-growth, pro-business agenda, 2019 New York State Budget proposals, and Federal tax Reform impacts to NYS taxpayers and businesses. Attendees will have the opportunity for a Q&A session with Ms. Briccetti after her presentation.

 Heather C. Briccetti, Esq. is the president and chief executive   officer of The Business Council of  New York State, Inc., the   primary, statewide association advocating for New York's   business community. Ms. Briccetti is a dynamic leader,  trusted   advisor, and champion for economic growth, good jobs, and   strong communities across New York. As a visionary for New   York's economy, she has created a leading voice for business on   economic growth, corporate governance, tax policy, labor,   manufacturing, campaign finance reform, value creation, and   education. Ms. Briccetti joined The Business Council in 2007, as   vice president of government affairs, overseeing the organization's legislative and pro-growth agendas. She holds a Juris Doctor from Albany Law School.
