Event Description:
The April 2021 Networking at Noon will be focused on Manufacturing and High-Tech Industry Insights, hosted by TST BOCES, Tompkins Workforce, Cortland Workforce and Ithaca Area Economic Development.

Join the Tompkins Chamber and panelists as each provides perspectives as leaders of their organizations and gives a “State of Manufacturing and High-Tech” intro. Additionally, our panelists will be highlighting some successes from 2020 and sharing information on the upcoming Manufacturing Day 2021
Our panelists will include:
  • Amy Buggs Director; Cayuga Cortland Workforce Development Board, Employment & Training Grant Administrator
  • Heather Cooper; Internship Coordinator/Job Developer, NTHS Advisor, Career and Tech at TST BOCES
  • Kurt Anderson; Director of Development & Strategy at Ithaca Area Economic Development 
  • Mary McLaughlin; Workforce Development Specialist at Tompkins Workforce New York
  • Cindy Sloan; Workforce Development Specialist at Tompkins Workforce NY
  • Carrie Coates Whitmore; Director Continuing Education & Workforce Development at Tompkins Cortland Community College

This event is not exclusively for folks within the manufacturing & high-tech industry. We are looking to have a diverse cross-section of all of our members, and can answer any questions about the event or the series at your request. Our goal is to provide an interactive space where attendees both within and outside of the retail industry can get to know each other and walk away with actionable industry insights.
