Name: August 2013 Business After Hours at Museum of the Earth
Date: August 14, 2013
Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM EDT
Registration: Sorry, public registration for this event has been closed.
Event Description:
Join your fellow Chamber Members amongst the exhibitions of PRI's Museum of the Earth for our annual August Member Mixer. Grab a drink and something to eat and build valuable business relationships needed to help you succeed in business.

Outside of bolstering your business connections, this event offers the opportunity to expand your understanding of our natural world by exploring their permanent and temporary exhibitions featuring fossils from the Paleontological Research Institution’s extensive collection of almost three million specimens.

This event will also provide a unique opportunity to see PRI's newest exhibit:Raising the Dead: the Art and Science of John Gurche.  This new temporary exhibition explores the intersection of art and science through the works of world-renowned Paleo-artist and PRI’s artist-in-residence, John Gurche.

This is also a great chance to learn about Rock the Future: Inspiring the Earth Scientists of Tomorrow, an exciting campaign in honor of the Museum's 10th anniversary. This initiative aims to construct new permanent exhibits and enhancements  within the Museum of the Earth and Cayuga Nature Center focusing on early learner and climate change education. It is PRI's hope that these additions will provide all future visitors engaging learning opportunities to discover more about Earth's past, present, and future. With the help of many generous supporters, PRI hopes to complete this project by June 2014.

Menu:

Cheese & deli assortment including cheddar, pepperjack, colby & swiss cheeses, paired with pepperoni and sopressata deli meats.
