The Tompkins County Legislature has commissioned a study through Cornell University’s ILR School to explore the potential impacts of a countywide minimum wage that could exceed the current New York State minimum wage. As part of this process, the research team will be holding a series of community convenings to gather input from a range of stakeholders, including businesses, workers, nonprofits, farmers, and others across the county.
Please join us April 14, from 9:30am-11:00am at the Ithaca Downtown Conference Center, to share the specific impacts your business/organization may experience. Pre-registration is requested, to ensure enough seating is available.
We recognize this is short notice and are working to align with the research team overall timeline. Other convenings will be held throughout the county in April and May. Please see the county’s website for additional information regarding the study: https://www.tompkinscountyny.gov/All-Departments/County-Administration/Tompkins-County-Minimum-Wage-Study
