The BoatYard Grill restaurant in Ithaca and the American Red Cross of Tompkins County have teamed up for a delicious way to provide Red Cross services to residents throughout the county.
For the entire month of June, The BoatYard Grill will donate 50 percent of its sales from its dessert of the month – strawberry shortcake – to the American Red Cross of Tompkins County.
The BoatYard Grill is also hosting a Give Back Night on Tuesday, June 10, when 20 percent of its sales for the day will be donated to the Red Cross. Throughout June, The BoatYard Grill will offer a free appetizer with the purchase of two entrées. Proceeds from The BoatYard Grill promotions will enable the Red Cross to continue to provide its services to Tompkins County residents. Those services includepreparing the public for disasters, responding to disasters, offering health and safety classes, hosting blood drives, and providing emergency communication and assistance for members of the Armed Forces and their families.
