Name:
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Workshop Series: DEI Coaching Session with Dr. Paula Ioanide
Date:
April 4, 2023
Time:
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM EDT

Event Description:
April DEI Workshop: Coaching Session
Presented by: Dr. Paula Ioanide, Rise to Equity
Advanced (a) Track
The Chamber is fortunate enough to invite decision makers and stakeholders an opportunity to come with questions regarding their DEI work within their organization. This workshop is intended for individuals who consider themselves advanced in their knowledge and journey of diversity, equity and inclusion.
Dr. Paula Ioanide brings ten years of consulting, facilitation, and research experience on improving equity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Her goal is to help organizations recruit and retain diverse employees, maintain fair hiring practices, and eliminate biases that hinder workplace excellence, innovation, and productivity. Key to this is integrating diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives into the fabric of organizations and businesses. To do this work, Paula offers assistance with creating collaborative DEI strategic plans that help organizations and businesses identify their vision and goals and their core initiatives. Because most strategic plans fail to identify clear quantitative or qualitative measures of success, Paula brings her data and research background to create clear measurement and accountability practices as part of the strategic planning process. Without this element, strategic plans have no way of knowing what works, what progress has been made on DEI initiatives, and how to report this to their organization.
With gratitude to sponsors Cayuga Health System, Community Foundation of Tompkins County, BorgWarner, and Chemung Canal Trust Company for their support.
