Event Description:

Join us for the first annual Excellence Through Equity Awards Dinner and Celebration,as our community and schools come together for an inspiring evening to honor and celebrate excellence through equity in Ithaca and Tompkins County.   
 
The evening will feature a keynote by Dr. Pedro Noguera one of our nation's leading education experts and tireless advocate for equity.
A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the first Excellence Through Equity Awards to honor and appreciate those already working on educational equity in our community and schools, and to recognize and support the great ideas and action plans of equity innovators in our community.
 
Join us as we come together to commit to a community vision of excellence through equity as a powerful win-win for everyone, understanding that ensuring all children have what they need to succeed is the only path to true educational excellence, and that it will take not just our schools, but all of us to make this vision a reality.
