February 2013 Business After Hours at Franziska Racker Center

Join us on February 13 for the Business After Hours to be held at Franziska Racker Centers (Administrative offices and Margaret Gibson Preschool at 3226 Wilkins Road, Ithaca, NY.)

 
Franziska Racker Centers began serving the Finger Lakes region in 1948 as the Cerebral Palsy Association by offering some of the first support of its kind outside of an institutional setting. The organization has grown in size and scope from the Cerebral Palsy Association, to The Special Children’s Center to the Franziska Racker Centers in honor and memory of Dr Franziska Racker. The agency has evolved to include over 29 sites, employs more than 700 people and serves over 3,000 individuals and their families throughout Tompkins, Cortland and Tioga counties annually.


Racker Centers serves individuals with disabilities and their families beginning in our early childhood programs and continues to help where needed through our clinical services, mental health services, community and home-based programs and our residential homes. Franziska Racker Centers works in schools, in your home, in our residential homes, and everywhere in between. We are inspired by the vision of our founding families: that all people with disabilities will be valued members of a welcoming and supportive community.

5:00 - Arrival and networking in the new Jean Dunlavey Learning Center. Food sponsored by H& J Hospitality

5:30 - Doors opened to the preschool

5:45 - Ongoing site tours begin of the Margaret Gibson special education preschool and administrative offices.

6:15 - Tours end for welcome (people are welcome to still look around etc.)

6:15 - Welcome by Chamber / Welcome by Dan Brown, new Executive Director of FRC

6:30 - Door prizes
