Event Description:
The February 2021 Networking at Noon will be focused on Retail Industry Insights, Hosted by the Downtown Ithaca Alliance and Local First Ithaca.  

Join Gary Ferguson, Downtown Ithaca Alliance; Jan Norman, Local First Ithaca; and Jennifer Tavares, Tompkins Chamber as each gives a “State of Retail” intro, providing perspectives as leaders of their organizations. Each will be highlighting some successes from 2020 and sharing why supporting local small businesses matters more than ever. 

Additionally, we’ll partnering with a small group of chamber member retailers to facilitate dialogues in the networking breakout component on the following topics:
  • Technology & digital solutions- Led by Aaron Rovitz, Triphammer Wine and Spirits, Ithaca Coffee and Flying Rooster
  • Customer satisfaction, safety, accessibility- Led by Lisa Swayze, Buffalo Street Books
  • Collaboration & partnerships that evolved during the last year to help businesses be successful- Led by Ian Golden, Finger Lakes Run Co
This event is not exclusively for folks within the retail industry. We are looking to have a diverse cross-section of all of our members, and can answer any questions about the event or the series at your request. Our goal is to provide an interactive space where attendees both within and outside of the retail industry can get to know each other and walk away with actionable industry insights.
