Event Description:
Introduction to geothermal heat pump systems - the primary clean renewable energy technology for heating and cooling buildings. The class will cover the state of the industry, as well as geothermal heat pump technology from the building envelope through well-field design, the heat pumps themselves, and distribution systems.
