Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting for Community Quiltmaking Center

Please join us in celebrating the grand opening of the Community Quiltmaking Center in collaboration with Finger Lakes ReUse! A ribbon cutting will take place at 2pm, with an open house to follow.

About the CQC:
This is a new volunteer-run effort; the Community Quiltmaking Center (CQC) is a community collaboration with Finger Lakes ReUse. The mission of CQC is to “open the door to quiltmaking for all” and to inspire and support “quiltmaking for community good.” CQC will bring together new and experienced quiltmakers, sewers and others to learn, share, teach, encourage, inspire, and create and recreate with fabric. CQC is committed to providing access to sewing machines, fabric, resources, and basic skills for sewing and sewing machine use, as essential elements of quiltmaking.
