Our Roundtable Series offers confidential spaces to share insights, seek feedback & guidance, and gain mentorship from peers. The LGBTQ+ Roundtable creates a space where queer professionals can build meaningful relationships, discuss topics relevant to their experiences in business and nonprofit settings, and raise the visibility of LGBTQ+ individuals in Tompkins County. This roundtable is open only to those who identify as a member the LGBTQ+ community.
During August our host is The Cherry Gallery, located inside Arthaus and adjacent to the Cherry Artspace. The exhibit Genderqueer Pioneers: The Lavender Hill Legacy will be on display as part of Seeing Ithaca, a multi-gallery event, and will inspire our discussion.
- Who in queer history inspires you today?
- What does it mean to be a pioneer in the context of those who came before us and who will come after us?
- Are there pioneers today? If so, in what ways?
Thank you to our sponsors: BorgWarner, Cayuga Health, and M&T Bank. Special thanks to The Community Foundation of Tompkins County for serving as the LGBTQ+ Roundtable sponsor.
