Live in Ithaca: Welcome Home Wednesday at the State of the Art Gallery

Have you relocated to the area in the past year to live or work in Tompkins County?
Are you interested in learning more about what Tompkins County has to offer a first time resident or someone returning after years away?

Significant others and kids are always welcome to attend our Welcome Home events.

Enjoy conversation and light refreshments with other residents who are new to the community.
Learn about services, programs, and volunteer opportunities in the area.
Explore a business or place that may be new to you.

While the event is geared towards new residents, any resident who feels they would benefit from attending or introducing themselves to new members of our Community are welcome.

Our host this month will be The State of the Art Gallery (SOAG). The State of the Art Gallery is a member run gallery. There is a new show on the walls each month by members or invited guests in addition to two juried shows a year. The members welcome new applicants who desire to become a member of the gallery. Each month, the gallery show is accompanied by an online show (http://soagithaca.org/online-shows/) found on the Website (soagithaca.org). Masks are required in the gallery.

In July the gallery is featuring SOAG's two newest members, Vince Joseph and Carol Spence. In addition to the main gallery show, other members have their artwork in the Salon that is adjacent to the main room.
