Name: Ribbon Cutting for New Vine Records
Date: November 9, 2021
Time: 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM EST
Event Description:

Please join the Tompkins Chamber, Tompkins County and Town of Dryden officials for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate New Vine Records' purchase of their longtime studio building!

New Vine Records started in 2012 when John Carter and a group of local investors (made up of dairy farmers, and other small business owners) decided to form a not-for-profit organization for the aid and development of emerging artists. This group purchased the property and facility (from then owner Peter Hopper, creator of MasterView SoundCrafts) and began the process of securing a 501 (c)3. Since then, to fulfill their mission New Vine Records has engaged the initiatives of developing a regional commercial production studio, as well as a not-for-profit record label supporting the development of emerging artists. New Vine offers management, artist development, production, and booking for those signed to the label for two-year contract periods at a time.
