Join your fellow Chamber members at M&T Bank on The Commons - as summer winds down and we look ahead to fall - in a community where change, seasonal and otherwise - is the norm.
Per custom, food, drink and networking will be key components of this special Business After Hours, but so, too, will be information on helping area residents whose lives are in a state of flux, and who may need a hand from friends and neighbors.
We’ll hear about United Way of Tompkins County on Sept. 11, and the United Way's Stephen E. Garner Day of Caring ( a food, personal care items, pet supplies & school supplies drive) on Sept. 20, and how you and your organization, family, and others, can get involved. Last year, more than 12,000 pounds of donations were received and distributed throughout Tompkins County.
Like the Chamber of Commerce, the Day of Caring connects good folks with a common mission, empowering people from all walks of life to work together to address important challenges, in this instance involving hunger, home and children.
On Sept. 11, at Business After Hours, we’ll enjoy each other's company, while looking ahead to the final days of summer, and a worthwhile community challenge this fall.
