Event Description:
This course provides insight and training into the key features of QuickBooks online (QBO), a cloud based accounting solution that has become the new standard in the industry, that was not provided in our QBO Part 1 course. 

Note: This course assumes a moderate level of understanding QBO as the additional areas reviewed build upon other the understanding covered in the Part 1 course. 

Instructor:
Kurt Behrenfeld, CPA.  With over 30 years of experience and multiple QuickBooks Pro Advisor certifications, Kurt has trained thousands of QuickBooks users in the past and really enjoys having students take their QuickBooks to the next level.

  • Using the customer dashboard
  • The Batching function as it relates to Customers

  • Review of Customer Statement function
  • Intuit merchant service seamless capabilities
  • Customize form templates

Lesson 4: Using Special Functions related to Vendors and the Disbursement Cycle
  • Using the vendor dashboard
  • The Batching function as it relates to Vendors
  • Applying expenses to jobs/projects
  • Review of Purchase Order function
Lesson 5: Payroll
  • Setting up payroll function
  • Set-up of employees and payroll variables
  • Tracking time (including job costing aspects)
  • Paying employees
  • Paying payroll liabilities
  • Filing federal and state reports
Lesson 6: Special Features of Reporting
  • Overview of reports and when to customize or not customize
  • Customizing reports
  • Downloading reports into spreadsheets and creating greater customizations for appropriate situations
  • Using special features with reports, such as budgeting
  • Using the information in reports to make better and more timely decisions
