Date: November 14, 2013
Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST
Event Description:
Full-day Defect Reduction Workshop
On November 14th, see how Raymond Corporation has applied the principles and tools of the Toyota Production System, and learn how to apply the 8-Step Quality Defect Reduction Method.

This workshop is sponsored by the Association for Manufacturing Excellence and incorporates the experiences of a company that invented the first hydraulic hand pallet truck 90 years ago and is now is a world leader in lift truck automation and materials handling productivity, reliability and efficiency.
Raymond will provide a tour of its manufacturing operations, and then team with AM&T to cover the 8-step method used by Raymond to reduce quality defects.  A critical part of this method is Raymond's daily morning market or "Asaichi" meeting, which will also be highlighted during the workshop. These meetings are used to communicate problems, share countermeasures, and speed overall resolution.
