How do I ask questions about differences in ethnic, racial, or religious identity without offending anyone? 

Learn more about unpacking casual racism and unconscious bias. We will explore how to ask meaningful questions that bring respectful understanding and avoid questions that unintentionally imply judgement and isolate individuals. Come prepared to think deeply and challenge your own perceptions and biases in a judgement-free environment. 


 
About the Speaker
 
Nagiane Lacka Arriaza received a B.S. in Labor Relations from Cornell University. Nagiane has worked in employee relations and program development. She uses her industry experience and knowledge to train job seekers to more effectively pursue career goals and assist employers create more culturally inclusive work environments. Nagiane currently coordinates the Hospitality Employment Training Program at the Greater Ithaca Activities Center and is a speaker on interfaith dialogue.
