Wild and Scenic Film Festival

Wild and Scenic Film Festival

The Finger Lakes Institute and Finger Lakes Regional Watershed Alliance will co-host the Wild and Scenic Film Festival on April 5th in Geneva, NY. The Wild and Scenic Film Festival seeks to increase groundswell for the environmental movement by using film to inspire activism and motivate people to take action. The five featured films include: The Fishman; Mother Nature’s Child: Growing Outdoors in the Media Age; Chasing Water; Slow the Flow; and Second Nature: Biomimicry Evolution. Together, the Finger Lakes Institute (FLI) and FLRWA will increase awareness of regional grassroots efforts and inspire stewardship of the Finger Lakes natural environment.

THE EVENT

-Featuring five environmental films in three hours!

-Enjoy Sustainable/Local/Organic refreshments & POPCORN!!

-Learn more about local grassroots organizations and join the groundswell!

-Interact with a diverse audience of research scientists, students, activists, members of the public.

-Learn about each of the Finger Lakes represented by the Finger Lakes Regional Watershed Alliance.

-Learn about our sponsors – Patagonia, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Clif Bar & Company, Mother Jones, and Red Jacket Orchards.
