Position Overview - Seeking a forward-thinking, experienced lead bartender to join our team and lead our speakeasy lounge.

Maintaining a Clean and Organized Environment––You help keep the bar safe and efficient by:
Housekeeping Keeping the space clean and tidy during and after service.
Stocking Essentials Restocking alcohol, beers, wines, sodas, batches, syrups, juices, glassware, and supplies as needed.
Dish Handling Ensuring clean and available dishware.
Storage Checks Keeping all coolers stocked and organized, making notes when something need to be ordered.
Equipment Care Keeping tools and equipment clean and in working order.
Quality Control Helping to ensure food and ingredient safety and quality.
Crowd Flow Assisting with guest flow and minimizing congestion.
Open and Closing Procedures Follow and complete exit tickets with complete accuracy and ensure your team does the same.
Restaurant Organization Know where dry goods, prepared food and raw ingredients are stored.
Delivering High-Quality, Safe, and Accurate Orders ––You help maintain food quality and presentation by:
Menu Knowledge Know our menu intimately and have the ability to walk a guest through ingredients, recipes, and taste profiles of all menu items.
Recipe Standards Know how to follow and execute all the recipes for all prep work in the kitchen and behind the bar.
Quality Control Monitoring ingredient appearance and taste.
  • Preventing Product Shortages by monitoring stock.
  • Adhering to FIFO for all food items
Stock Awareness Reporting low stock levels to avoid shortages.
Supporting Efficiency & Sales––You help the business succeed by:
Taking Orders Correctly Ensuring clarity and accuracy with customer orders.
Assisting with Flow Helping to keep service moving efficiently. Break bottle necks.
Upselling Recommending items when appropriate.
Minimizing Waste Handling ingredients carefully to reduce waste and mistakes.
Proactive Problem-Solving Taking initiative to address small issues before they escalate.
Consciously Increasing Sales Upselling when appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Available late nights, holidays and weekends
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Can stand for long periods of time
  • Legal US work authorization
  • Technology savvy
  • Basic understanding of finances
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
 
Tres Leches Package
  • An energetic and positive work environment with a supportive team focused on your personal and professional growth.
  • Base $12.25 guaranteed $18.  Yearly avg per hour based on tips $35 | 7 days accruable PTO | 5 days paid leave renewed yearly on start date anniversary annual profit-share ($500-$2500) | Shift meal, paid breaks, $80 in-store allowance renewed monthly.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
