About Us
Amplify Equity, Inc. is a mission-driven, 501(c)(3) certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) dedicated to breaking down systemic barriers for entrepreneurs. We serve historically marginalized populations—including People of Color, women, justice-impacted individuals, and low-income entrepreneurs—in the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes regions. Our unique, "human-first" approach combines flexible financial assistance with intensive, long-term support to help businesses transition from survival mode to building sustainable generational wealth. Key programs include:
Community Loan Fund: Character-based micro-loans (up to $20,000) that prioritize a business's vision and community impact over traditional credit scores or collateral.
Business Accelerator: A comprehensive program offering self-paced online courses, workshops, and unlimited one-on-one mentoring tailored to each entrepreneur's journey.
Amplifying Opportunity: Specialized pilot programs providing flexible monthly stipends alongside education and mentoring to support strategic growth. By providing equitable access to capital and knowledge, Amplify Equity is building a stronger, more inclusive local economy where every business owner has the power to thrive.
