For more than 50 years, GreenStar Food Co+op has provided shoppers with delicious, healthy, and affordable food while supporting local farmers and producers and giving back to the larger community. More than a quarter of GreenStar’s annual sales are from products grown or produced within 100 miles of Ithaca.

GreenStar Food Co+op’s Cascadilla Street store features fresh meat and specialty cheese counters, plant-based and culturally diverse foods, a self-serve bulk department, a great local beer and cider selection, made to order meals, a self-serve hot bar, salad bar, and soup bar, sushi, and grab and go entrees, salads, sides, and more. GreenStar also offers curbside pickup or delivery through Instacart.

Shopping the Co-op is easy and affordable with everyday low-price Co+op Basics items and great Co+op Deals on national brands. You don’t have to be a member to shop, but for a small annual equity payment, you can join more than 12,000 member-owners and be part of the Co-op’s decision-making process governed by a triple bottom line balancing economic, social, and environmental impact and results.
