About Us

La Tourelle Inn & Spa, offers a warm and inviting stay in Ithaca, NY, surrounded by natural beauty and close to top Finger Lakes attractions. Set on 15 rolling acres, this 57-room inn began in 1986 on the grounds of a former farm. Recently renovated in 2025, La Tourelle Inn has emerged warmer and refined, yet still rooted in its original charm. The hotel provides easy access to Cornell University, Ithaca College, downtown Ithaca and the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail.

Mornings start slow by the lobby fireplace; by midday a private trailhead carries you straight into Buttermilk Falls State Park; by evening you are back, reflecting over the day’s adventure with a glass of local wine. Every room and suite is individually designed with plush bedding, soothing colors, and views of the surrounding countryside, and thoughtful touches — complimentary WiFi, complimentary parking, a 24/7 coffee and tea station, and freshly baked afternoon cookies — make it easy to settle in.
