Grab a friend and join us at Coltivare on Friday, July 28, from 8–10 a.m. to network with other professionals, learn more about Leadership Tompkins, and join the conversation with Rich Gallagher, licensed marriage and family therapist. Rich will help you change the way you think about anxiety-inducing situations and provide tools you can use right now to relieve the pressure.
Registration is available at the Tompkins Chamber of Commerce Website. There is a $10 registration fee, which covers the workshop and light refreshments.
All participants will also receive a copy of Rich’s new book, No Bravery Required: A Clinically Proven Program for Fears, Phobias and Social Anxiety.

Rich Gallagher, licensed marriage and family therapist, is one of the nation’s leading experts on workplace communications skills. A former customer service executive and practicing psychotherapist, his nine books include two national #1 customer service bestsellers, What to Say to a Porcupine and The Customer Service Survival Kit: What to Say to Defuse Even the Worst Customer Situations, as well as the top 10 career skills book How to Tell Anyone Anything. A 2003 Leadership Tompkins graduate, Rich specializes in workplace issues; career, life path, and self-esteem issues; and anxiety disorders such as panic attacks, fears, and phobias. He leads a twice-yearly group program called Anxiety Camp for anxiety sufferers and their families. His new book, No Bravery Required, looks at treating fears and phobias through mindful awareness, physical relaxation, cognitive restructuring, gradual exposure, and social and communications skills for social anxiety.
