Job Summary
Promote and ensure equitable access to public health education and services with a focus on improving birth and health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement: Conduct outreach to build awareness about programs and services.

Direct Support: Work directly with individuals and families to access resources and services to improve health outcomes.

Advocacy: Support self-advocacy skills and recognize personal experience and growth.

Collaboration: Partner with community organizations to strengthen networks and build relationships to better support clients.

Assistance: Provide referrals and assistance with paperwork and applications for health-related needs and services.
Qualifications & Skills

Excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills.

A passion for public health equity.

Strong ability to build trusting relationships with community members, local initiatives, and coalitions.

Training: Comprehensive training is provided.

Languages: Preferred fluency in other languages (Spanish, Chinese, or Karen).
Position Details

Type: Full-time, 35 hours/week.

Compensation: $28.42/hour hire rate, increasing to $29.92/hour work rate.
