Lifelong is seeking a full-time Development and Donor Engagement Manager to help strengthen and expand the community of supporters who make our work possible. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, sharing compelling stories, organizing meaningful events and campaigns, and inspiring others to invest in a mission that matters.
For nearly 75 years, Lifelong has helped older adults in Tompkins County remain active, connected, informed, and independent through programs, classes, support services, volunteer opportunities, and community engagement. As our Development and Donor Engagement Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring that this work continues to thrive.
What You'll Do
Build and nurture relationships with donors, sponsors, community partners, and volunteers
- Lead fundraising campaigns and donor stewardship efforts
- Coordinate donor appreciation and engagement activities
- Manage donor communications and fundraising appeals
- Represent Lifelong throughout the community
- Work closely with our Executive Director and Board to grow philanthropic support
We're seeking someone with at least 1-2 years of fundraising, donor relations, or development experience who enjoys connecting with people and communicating impact. Strong communication skills, organization, initiative, and a passion for community service are essential.
